I was curious whether jQuery would be a better fit for Simple Lightbox, so today I started evaluating the (currently Prototype-based) javascript to see what it would take to make it compatible with jQuery.  The current JS code is clean so before I knew it, I was working my way through and integrating jQuery.  Thank goodness for SVN 🙂

I’m a bit more than halfway through my initial pass over the code now and hope to have something working in a day or two.  From there I’ll release a beta version for others to test and provide feedback.
