Here’s a really quick and surprisingly simple way to learn more about what you want in life:

If your response to the opportunity for a new experience is:

I’ll probably suck at it.

Or

It’ll probably suck.

Then, you absolutely must do it.

Simple as that.

In my experience, experiencing something I did not like had far more of an effect on refining my interests and direction than experiencing something I liked ever did.

Do something you don’t think you’ll like– what it will tell you about the things you are passionate about will be more than worth it.
